Our fully furnished cottages are situated among tall Pines, Oaks, Birch, and Maples on the shores of Heart Lake. Crystal clear water with an excellent sandy-bottom protected swimming area and clear, star-filled nights are just some of the things that make for a perfect vacation getaway. Whether you enjoy swimming, fishing, golf or roasting marshmallows over an open fire, our location and setting is hard to beat. If it's just relaxing and having fun with friends or family, that too will be at your doorstep.
Winter activites are right out your door with a well marked state snowmobile trail just across from the cottages. Downhill and cross-crountry skiing are also available in area. On weekend rentals, we have a very late check-out time and provide free trail maps. We ride too and have good knowledge of the area. Weekdays are discounted.
Heart Lake Resort is an "out-of-the-way" place but one can also find themselves in the "Alpine Village" of Gaylord just to the North. Gaylord and the surrounding area has many fine golf courses, unique shops, restaurants, taverns and casinos. Golf, canoeing, horseback riding, mushroom hunting, elk viewing, biking, fishing, fall colors, hunting and snowmobiling are just a few of the unlimited outdoor recreational possibilities that can make for a fun filled vacation.
